“Morningstar is simply stunning with its combination of believable characters, intense sex and a fascinating world. Jade Falconer has managed to write a tale that was able to wrap me up in every scene on every page.” – joyfullyreviewed.com
"...a passionate love affair that will stay with you long after the story has ended." – Isabelle Spencer RRTErotic.com
"Powerful and dark, this nefarious but amazing love story left me in awe. The circumstances that plunged the world into darkness were not only believable but frighteningly possible, a foundation which made the conditions in the plot completely feasible. The main characters, especially Daniel, were real enough to care about, to treasure their uniqueness and zest for loving. Many supporting characters we didn't get to know well but the villain was almost too real. It was stunning that our main characters could possibly find love under such conditions, but I've always heard love will find a way. It was such a passionate love that the powerful sex scenes occasionally left me shaking. Their affair would seem controversial to some readers with male/male, vampire/human sex. It was certainly taboo on both counts in their society. Discovery would mean death, period. The ending was surprising yet fitting, even if it felt a bit abrupt in the way the end often comes. It affected me in a haunting way I can't explain, but I'll be thinking of these characters for awhile. I highly recommend Morningstar for an imaginative, unusual, decidedly original and captivating read." – Just Erotic Romance Reviews
"I truly have nothing negative to say about this book. The characters are fully fleshed out, the plot is dynamic and well paced.
In the not to distant post apocalyptic future of the United States, mankind has only started to recover from a ìTerminatorî type of computer fiasco. One of the many results were airborne toxins that caused a change in birth rates where females were outnumbered by males 4 to 1. Due to this change in the population homosexuality has been outlawed as breeding to perpetuate the human race is the most important thing.
Vampires used the decline of human civilization to emerge from the shadows of myth and wreak havoc on the remaining human populations.
Daniel is one of the youngest and most successful hunters in the city. His code name is Morningstar. Citizens and other hunters idolize him, vampires fear him. Scott is a former Rock-n-Roller turned vampire. Two men who are supposed to be mortal enemies; do opposites really attract, and how do you live in society where your existence is a crime."
